Future-proof technology and tight integration with user services were key to the museum’s decision

The Natural History Museum houses a public library that is used by the museum’s own scientists, visiting researchers, and members of the public. Given the large number of digital resources that it holds, a number which is constantly growing due to their digitization project, the library sought a solution that would enable staff to manage all resource types through unified processes and workflows. An additional requirement was that users be able to access all of the library’s collections through a single search interface, a feature that would enable users to find relevant resources rapidly.
