We spoke with Kitty Inglis, Librarian at the University of Sussex, who commented that their “ability to facilitate the acquisition of resources and exposure of our collections and services was beginning to be seriously compromised. Ms Inglis also spoke about the strong Alma user community in the UK and internationally which offers a comprehensive knowledge base of material. Ms Inglis continued, “We see Alma as an investment in the future that will help us fulfil numerous goals; the strong, flexible analytics capabilities will provide us with tools to verify that we are meeting the needs of our users, and the efficient SaaS workflow will save time for our staff, who will be able to focus more on user-related tasks.”
